• Tissue sections need to be placed at the outer edge of the slides, on the opposite end from the frosted labeling position, to be compatible with the VENTANA DISCOVERY System. A detailed description of sample preparation can be found in our RNAscope XT FFPE Specimen Preparation Guide.
• RNAscopeVS FFPE Reagents provide enough reagents for staining 60 slides.
• RNAscopeVS Target and Control Probes provide enough reagents for staining 30 slides.
• RNAscope FFPE Target Probes must be ordered separately, please see our Target Probe Search.

The following additional components will soon be available from Ventana and will be required to run Automated RNAscopeVS FFPE Assays.
